Kjeldsen - forced to withdraw

 

The European Tour's Andalucia Open winer Kjeldesen, has been replaced in the field of 156 by 27-year-old US professional Steven Conway - the first alternate from qualifying in Roslyn, Washington.

Conway will join Denmark's Soren Hansen and Sweden's Peter Hanson and the trio will be scheduled to start off the 10th tee Thursday afternoon.

Kjeldsen, 34, shared 52nd in his US Open debut in 2005 and missed the cut in the first round two years ago.
