The TaylorMade R9 Super Tri Driver offers terrific distance that is achieved through optimization. This club has a 460cc head and a lower cg, meaning long shots that get you to the green faster. This club promotes up to 75 yards of side-to-side trajectory change for straighter, longer tee shots. This club has a new aerodynamic shape with deeper face, meaning bigger hits with more spin, which carries the ball farther. 

 

The R9 Super Tri Driver clubhead has a new shape and a black-on-black colour scheme, including a black PVD clubface. The R9 Super Tri is equipped with a Fujikura Motore 65-gram shaft, which is five grams lighter than the Motore 70 used in the R9 driver. 

 

In addition to being lighter, the Motore 60 makes it easier to launch the ball on a higher launch angle and at a higher spin-rate, which helps many players achieve longer carry for increased distance.

» First time combining Flight Control Technology (FCT) and Moveable Weight Technology (MWT) in a 460 cc head.

  I think the R9 Super Tri Driver is the best driver I ever hit. I gained about 10 to 20 yards from my old driver. This driver does not have loft, lie, weight change stuff, but I hit more consistence and longer.

  The best R9 Super Tri I have ever tried. Soft off the face, and extra 10-20 metres, light in the hands. Probably about the right price for a new model.

  This R9 Super Tri Driver is the best of all in distance and shot dispersion. There is one simple reason why this club is so much beter than the rest of my drivers and that is the Fuji Motore shaft. I would recommend to all golfers seeking the goal of improveing their game---- go buy a good quality shaft and reap the benefits.

  This is a great Driver. It increase my drive distance and allows me to hit the ball straight. I can actually swing as hard as I want and still hit the ball straight. This R9 Super Tri Driver is a must have for any golfer!
