The European golf player, Edoardo Molinari, will manage to follow his Ryder Cup call-up this week by being the first golf player to gain three times this season.
However, it is important to known that two things would appear to be against the 29-year-old golf player at the Omega European Masters, who is not in Scotland and does not have his brother Francesco with him.
Obviously, the success in the Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond and then on Sunday in the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles both were achieved with Francesco as his final-round playing guy.
However, the wild card Edoardo is at Crans-sur-Sierre in Switzerland and thinks last year's tournament as the beginning of his surprising burst into Colin Montgomerie's side.
Edoardo Molinari said"I think I was lucky enough to get an invitation, I was leading the Challenge Tour by a bit, while still had not played a (European) Tour event for three or four months. I had a decent week and that was large for the confidence for I didn't know where I was compared to these who are on the European Tour.”
"It wasn't a great ending, but I believed that this year I can play well, not only because I am a good player, but also I believe my favorite TaylorMade R9 SuperTri driver can help my game, although I didn't imagine I may make the Ryder Cup.”
Molinari started 2009 at 653rd in the golf world, by this time last year was up to 166th and then a month later climbed into the top 100.
Recently, Molinari is 15th, which can make him the highest-ranked golf player in this week's field ahead of Open champion Louis Oosthuizen.
