Ping Rapture V2 Irons are a set of golf clubs offered by Ping that are intended to give aspiring golfers maximum forgiveness, for an extreme game improvement. The head is designed using multi-metal technology which helps give more accuracy, further distance along with more forgiveness. 

 
Ping perfected the variable thickness face technology (VFT) which increases ball speed for maximum launch velocity at any clubhead speed. This VFT titanium face is machined by a sophisticated computer-aided milling process to fine tune the face for maximum forgiveness and explosion. The titanium face is then plasma-welded to the stainless steel head. This multi-materail clubhead offer the best of each element without having to contend with the drawbacks of each. 

 
The Ping Rapture V2 Irons is made up or a tungsten sole weight, a titanium face and a stainless steel body to allow for an innovative game improvement design. The lightweight titanium face allows weight to be relocated to the wider tungsten sole that positions the centre of gravity ideally for a higher launch angle and increased MOI. As a result the this set of golf clubs can incorporate stronger lofts to increase distance without sacrificing any control. The incorporation of a deeper Custom Tuning Port with elastomer inserts increases face stability for a solid feel and a uniform response across the whole clubface. 

 
These clubs are simply great. They're certainly not cheap at these prices, but they lack for nothing in performance. But don't expect it to feel like a forged club--because it's not. Compared to other game improvement golf clubs the feel is quite good, and compared to "Super Game Improvement" clubs, the feel is exceptional.
